The organiser strictly rejects doping. By registering you commit to the rules on this page.
Basis
What applies
The Südkärntner Triathlon is held under the competition rules of the Austrian Triathlon Federation. The following anti-doping provisions, as amended, apply to all participants.
Commitment upon participation
By participating, athletes commit to complying with the anti-doping rules of the Austrian Anti-Doping Federal Act 2021 (Anti-Doping Bundesgesetz 2021) and the relevant regulations of the competent national and international sports federation (in particular statutes, sporting rules and competition rules).
Athletes are persons who are members or licence holders (annual or day licence) of a sports organisation or an organisation affiliated with it, or who were at the time of a potential violation of anti-doping rules, or who take part in competitions organised by a sports organisation or an affiliated organisation or funded by federal sports funding.

Prohibited substances and methods
The organiser and the host strictly reject doping. As a participant you affirm that you have not taken or applied, and will not take or apply, any prohibited substances or prohibited methods for doping purposes.
Whether a medication or treatment method is prohibited can be checked in the NADA Austria medication database.

Therapeutic use exemption
If a participating athlete requires the intake of prohibited substances or the use of prohibited methods based on a medical or dental diagnosis, athletes in the testing pool must apply for a therapeutic use exemption in advance.
All other athletes are also strongly advised to keep all medical certificates and findings for a possible retroactive therapeutic use exemption.
